We live in Austin, TX so during spring, my kiddos and everyone else in our house has a constant runny nose due to seasonal allergies. Before I moved here, I had never had seasonal allergies, but I quickly learned that it’s the case for most people here. Whether it’s cedar, pollen, or mold, there’s something for everyone in the air in Austin that’ll give you allergy symptoms!

Even still, I think spring still is my favorite season. It’s the perfect time for backyard parties, sunbathing, and BBQs. But to make sure our allergies don’t ruin the fun, we stock up on essentials: most importantly a soft and strong tissue!

BBQ parties, camping, and beach trips are a lot of fun but like I said, we all have constant runny noses that can ruin the fun pretty quickly. To make sure we’re prepared, we stock up on tissues at Sam’s Club. You can never have too many tissue boxes in your house. Keep one in the car too. And make sure it’s strong enough and soft enough like Member’s Mark Brand 2-ply Facial Tissue from Sam’s Club are.

Why I stock up on tissues and why you should to

Member’s Mark Brand 2-ply Facial Tissue from Sam’s Club are great. They’re soft. We go through a couple big boxes of tissues a week at least so I need to buy them in bulk. And if you’re using that level of tissues, using anything but the best soft ones will leave your nose chafed and red. If you’re like Jude and me and have sensitive skin, you’ll love that they’re hypoallergenic and free from ink, perfume, lotion, and fragrance. Plus, they have super cute box designs that fit nicely in our house.

What we learned this week, though, are that tissues aren’t just for runny noses – they’re great for DIY projects too! Here’s a fun little DIY bunny box we made with Jude this weekend. Since Jude’s favorite holiday is Easter and he still carries around a plastic egg he got this year, we made a little bunny. You can make any animal you’d like though. The sky’s the limit. Jude loves it and carries it all around the house constantly.
