Best snacks for toddlers?

When I’m preparing our diaper bag before we go out of the house, I like to pack few different snack options because I never know what my kids will be in the mood for that day. You know, toddlers… Ideally, I’d be packing apples, bananas, carrots, and a side of healthy dip in a fancy lunch box but let’s be real, I don’t always have time to carefully prepare and pack the perfect snack. Not to mention, fruits and veggies go bad quickly in the heat.

Also, have you noticed that most easy-to-transport food are often the ones highest in sugar? Well, I can have it both ways now, healthy and convenient, thanks to Sprout.

Why Sprout?

Because actually, Sprout was the original brand putting food like this in a pouch! Now, you find baby food pouches everywhere. Another key thing about Sprout is that they only use USDA certified organic and non-GMO ingredients. Their organic foods for babies and toddlers are made of premium food without any artificial ingredients, thickeners, fillers or preservatives. In other words, they’re a trustworthy brand. In fact, Sprout® is the only baby food company to pledge that the foods on the front of the label match the primary ingredients in the recipe on the back. If it says Carrot, Apple, and Mango on the front, they’ll be right there at the top of the ingredients list. And new to Sprout®, based on growing consumer demand for plant-based diets, they’ve launched a line of plant-based food.

Why plant power?

There are multiple health benefits associated with eating a plant-based diet, making it an attractive choice for families. It’s associated with increased life expectancy, obesity prevention, reduced diabetes and heart disease; and reduced exposure to pro-inflammatory fats, antibiotics, and growth hormones used in the raising of animals. I like that I don’t have to worry about stuffing veggies down their throat! With Sprout, they get the health benefits of real fruits and vegetables with the convenience of an easy-to-pack snack.

I actually tried their food myself and it tastes really good and healthy in that positive way where you feel good while eating it. Even my little picky eaters like Sprout, as you can see. Oh, and the pouches are transparent on the front so you can physically see how much your kids are eating. Because of all this awesome stuff, Sprout is now leading the plant-powered movement in the baby and toddler section of the grocery store.

Put Sprout® in your diaper bag!

If your kiddos aren’t into fruit pouches, Sprout offers other types of toddler snacks like these Organic Curlz White Cheddar Bakes. They’re so good, the kids love them, and they pound them down like they were eating Cheetos, but I don’t have to feel guilty when they gorge on it. Just like the pouches, they’re plant powered and are a healthy, nutrient-dense snack for your tots.

Furthermore, these foods can help us moms expose our babies and toddlers to new flavors and textures, helping them establish a love for healthy food early on. We always put some in our diaper bag before leaving the house. Next time you’re at the grocery store, look for Sprout® products and give them a try. Click this link for special offers and coupons.
